Art as medicine

In this workshop we experience sharing our truth in a different way, through our art and creativity.

Expect dancing, creating, connecting and sharing.

Every week, there is a new artistic way to explore and the space to share and connect. We experiment with collage, free painting, conscious movement and sensorial art, among others.

Art as Medicine Schedule

14/04: FREE PAINTING

Unblocking our creativity, the first session opens the doors to explore what our creative resources can do for us. We start with music and conscious movement as a warm up before starting to paint on our canvas. The evening finishes with a group sharing.

21/04: COLLAGE

In this session we play with a technique that invites us to create something new, from the old. It also allows us to be as literal or abstract as we want to be, while we keep emptying our mind in the paper. The evening finishes with a group sharing.

28/04: SELF-PORTRAIT

A session to go inwards. We are going to paint our own portrait, in a non-academic way, with freedom and spontaneity. We start with a guided meditation, continue with the painting and close with a 1 to 1 sharing.

05/05: SENSES CELEBRATION

Which is the limit of our creativity? Is there one? Exploring all our senses and putting them into our art. Smell, taste, sound, touch, sight, combining all 5 to create a unique piece. This is the closing session of the cycle!

Create, connect, share.

About Nirvana

I hold the space for others to explore their own truth and versatility through movement, dance and art.

My commitment is towards connection, embodiment and freedom of expression. I dance, paint and create to feel alive. I am silent, euphoric, curious, sensitive, creative, lover of nature, the sea, the mountains and the animals.

I share meditations and creativity sessions, and enjoy practicing and sharing conscious dance. All explorative work, there is no right or wrong in my practice and my presence is fully at the participants’ disposal.
